Hi all,
I am new to this amazing forum and posting my first ever question to you guys :d .. My brother is getting married in October and for my bhabhi’s bridal we really want to get a designer lehnga. For some outfits, the price can be little too much so I was wondering if anyone of you have had an bargaining experience with a designer? If you reduce the kaam a little bit or just want to negotiate the price, is it possible?

yes it is .. with SOME designers!! ... but it usually works like .. u mention ur budget and if theyre interested .. theyd design one accordingly .. etc etc ... some designers are flex .. some .. like bunto and dr haroon and elan and rani emaan etc dont work below are set price range theyve established with their work..who u interested in ?

My brother got married last summer and this summer its my sisters :) Depends on how much you're looking to spend, what your budget is
Rani Emaan : all of Bhabhi bridal outfits last year from her. Good with bargaining, lessening kaam, stuck with budgets. However expenses have gone up insanly. Same outfit bought last year for 2700, this year is 3500...
Sana Safina : my sister loves... we bought a few formal. Looked at the bridals we well. They have only particular colors that they will change certain outfits into ( outfit A is only available in blue/magenta/green; outfit B is pink/purple/etc)
they are more difficult to deal with on lessening kaam. Each outfit is basically a carbon copy of the next. search the forums, web - and you will see that. many formals/bridals are the same, just color is different
HSY : personally, used to love.. looked at his pieces as well.. but eh, unimpressed. Basic BASIC formal was 1200, and kaam was on gala and short sleeves only... he is not the best from what I know on bridals to bargain
Karma : bridals are nice. but not the best to deal with. customer service isn't the best, unless you are there to physically handle your outfit.. see the forum on karma. they also dont care to bargain that much.
-- Dr. Haroon -- great to work with. outfits start at 4-5 , will do as much kaam as he can within your budget
-- Sania Maskatiya -- gorgeous pieces.. also pricey, may work something out I think
-- Nida Azwer -- not soo much on the bargaining but still love it
-- Rizwan Beyg -- also not much of a bargainer
-- I may be wrong, but this was our experience... not necessarily ours
we went with rani, haroon, saniya, rizwan, sana, nida... Inshallah will let you know how it turns out !
