what gives??? an average day for me consists of two bottles of water a sixty calorie tortilla with a scoop of veggie tuna salad or two slices of smoked turkey breast. hardly even five hundred cals… haven’t had rice or sweets or junk food since eid … weighed myself on wed and i was down 12 lbs… weighed on Saturday and UP FIVE LBS!! the only extra stuff i had from my usual was a glass of milk and two squares dark choc on Wednesday and watermelon on Friday … why did i gain five LBS from that

What you are losing is only water and not fat. Try to include a moderate 10-15 mins brisk walk and eat fibre rich foods for abt 2-3 weeks to get your metabolism to work a little faster. Am not sure how much you wanna lose, but you can easily lose abt 2lbs a week this way.

how about getting your thyroid checked......that's what happened to me...I was barely eating anything and still gaining weight..
got checked and found out that my metabolism wasn't working due to an underactive thyroid.
also....when you cut your caloric intake down to that degree the body may go into conservation mode and stop shedding.....

Sometimes constant stress can cause weight gain, stress increases cortisol hormone, which slows down metabolism and increase fat absorption
and Sleeplessness also increases cortisol
Sometimes it has very little to do with food, it has to do with our thought process
