Not to offend anyone,but it reminds me of the Urdu word ‘burhiya’…meaning old lady and ‘barhiya’ meaning something along the lines of good or perfect.

I agree its an odd name. Is it derived from the surname ‘Bari’ ?
It also sounds like ‘Bahria’ lol.
But then, to each their own

“Bareeha” is pronounced like “Fareeha” only B instead of F.
