Bare Mineral Kit

Anyone has personal experience with this kit?

BARE ESCENTUALS GET STARTED COMPLEXION KIT - LIGHT (9 PRODUCTS)

Is it any good and does it have all that it takes for a ‘nice and easy to apply natural looking base’?

Re: Bare Mineral Kit

Ok fine! I won’t buy it :naak:

Re: Bare Mineral Kit

I use bare minerals!!!! And I think its fantastic :) I don't have the kit tho... I have one container of the "light", another of the "mineral veil", and the "warmth". I'm obsessed with this expecially because it can be applied SO quickly. It's great for every-day wear. I'v been using for 2 years now.

It is definitely worth buying the kit tho :) U save a ton of money doing it this way. My friend bought it after she saw how great the makeup looks on me. The instructions that come along really help and u will know how to use this stuff with the first try.

I do really think it is a "nice and easy way to apply a natural base".... for sure!!!

Re: Bare Mineral Kit

Its a nice and light make up set to use for everyday use... but if you have fine lines or wrinkles you might want to stay away from it since it will outline as opposed to hide the lines...

The mineral veil is great to absorb excess oils from the t-zone throughout the day :)

Re: Bare Mineral Kit

Thanks PR and sighs.. I don't have fine lines but do have acne scars/oily skin that's sensitive to make up.

It does include brushes, so yea maybe it's economical than buying everything separately.

Re: Bare Mineral Kit

Hmmm, powder will just sit and define your scars. You should try a primer first (I highly recommend Smashbox Photo-finish Primer). This way if you have any uneven surface, the primer is thick enough to even out your skin tone. After that use an illuminating serum (NARS Orgasm is great) this will give you a nice even glow and deflect attention from scars. After this you can put on a tinted moisturizer, since foundations are pretty cakey for everyday use. Try Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, I love it!

If you use a concealer try the Laura Mercier creamy eye pot concealers too!

Everything I mentioned is available from sephora.com - and your finger tips are the best applicators!
