A VICTORIAN man who murdered his three children by driving them into a farm dam two years ago will be sentenced today.

I wonder if it was just the ruthless desire for revenge, jealousy or Australian Law, society does play a role in developing remorse by burdening father too heavily with childcare ??
Crown prosecutor Jeremy Rapke QC, last month told a pre-sentence hearing in the Victorian Supreme Court that the appropriate sentence for Farquharson was life in jail without parole.
“For murdering his children in the manner that he did and for the reason that he did, Robert Farquharson should be condemned to spend the rest of his days in jail,” Mr Rapke told the court.
Mr Rapke said Farquharson’s motive for the September 4, 2005 murders was to punish his ex-wife, Cindy Gambino.
He said Farquharson was angry Ms Gambino had a new partner, he resented increases in child support payments and her having a better car than he did.
