1) who is POW.spend five years in prison and refused to get released coz there were prisoners who were there in prison before him and it wasnt his turn.
2) send charted planes spending his money to resuce animals during katrina.
3) adopted a bangaldeshi girl from an orphan when she was 1 year old and was not able to eat coz she had a cleft problem.
4) His son served in iraq in 2005-06 when the conditins were really bad in Iraq.He is a millionaire and how many millionaires work in army?

Obama, he's young representing new generation of politician's in US. He connects well with people, he's diplomatic. I like the fact that he is willing to negotiate with rough nations without pre-existing conditons. When he went on his foreign tour, he visited most of the leaders in those countries (including Palestinean President Mehmod Abbas, McCain didnt do that). On the subject of War on Terror including Afghanistan and Pakistan, I feel that he SHOULD be in contact with the Pakistani government and understand the local and tribal reactions, sentiments, and problems of the frontier and tribal region on the border. The endless drone bombings need to stop, I hope he can do that.
On domestic issues:
His health plan was more descriptive, reduce cost's by $2500 and require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions so all Americans regardless of their health status or history can get comprehensive benefits at fair and stable premiums. *
On the economy, it will be challenging but I think his views are better and hopefully they will bring the necessary changes and stabilize this deep recession we are heading into.*

I agree and he actually has the upper hand in foriegn experience with Joe Biden as his running mate .*

Doing good things on personal level (1-3) doesn’t mean he will be equally good for America or rest of the world. #4 is his son’s choice, I am not sure if McCain interferes in his life/choices

Obama is only a good speaker and most of his ideas are naive. who the hell wants to sit with a ahmedinijad monkey to talk. A good leader will never sit and talk witha person who publicly speak of wiping a country.

As a Pakistani neither one is good for Pakistan. If anything Biden gets my support not Obama. While Mccain did a dumbass move by getting Palin. Obama did the smartest thing around by getting Biden.
Biden will make an excellent presidential candidate in a few years. Specifically for Pakistan.
