Baraat in Toronto/Mississauga

Dear Forum,

I can see that dated threads already exist regarding this topic. However, I was wondering whether someone cold help me with new information concerning shaadi halls in the Mississauga and Toronto area?

I live abroad, and will be having my Baraat in Toronto, my family in Toronto have suggested the capitol banquet hall. It really is overwhelming to plan a wedding when being so far away. Anyways, I hope someone has some tips  Plus, it wont be a huge wedding, max 150 people. Most places I have viewed online look huge!

Thanks

MaLu

Re: Baraat in Toronto/Mississauga

It's hard to make recommendations without knowing your budget... What are you hoping to spend per person?

Are you limited to Mississauga as a geographical area?

Have you considered working with a local planner or event designer to scout out locations for you?

I don't know much about Capitol but just a basic google search shows it's used for a lot of university functions like fashion shows and parties so I'm assuming it's on the lower end of the cost scale and perhaps not for the most discerning crowd?

Check venuesource.ca and also the venues/pics listed on the Boston Images website. If you will be working with a specific photographer or decorator, also ask them for their opinions.
