Hello every 1 want advice for my baraat and valima dress colours as my sister in law ask me she lives in lahore .plz i dnt knw what colorz should i choose dnt knw why my mind is nt wrkng now plz could u all gve me advice i wl be thank ful to u all .u can post pics also becz is diffucult to explain colrz to evry 1

Thanks.well my fav is purple but i already wore purple and offwhite on my engagment. Ok let me check in bridal pics.

nowdays all sorts of colours & combinations are available depending on what sort of look r going for, contemporary or traditional or a fusion of both :)

i choose baraat : red colour and blue or only red
for valima : grey pink or matte golden with green

i wore plum n fawn on my engagmnet

now my dress colrs are

maroon n mustard with bottle green velevet
on valima its sea green n fawn

can any 1 tell me what fabric use for bridal dress??? i like chiffon can ready made suits of bridal wear in chiffon fabric is available or not ? becoz i see many bridal dress is of banarsi i dont like becoz its hard fabric sometime ..

my dresses are pure chiffon.. red and olive green for baraat and peach and pink for valima

i will be wearing eggplant and red for my wedding and bottle green and ferozi for my valima , i wore tea pink on my engagement.

shades of red for barat…and walima you can pretty much wear any colour YOU like… :slight_smile: there is no rule when choosing colours…its a blank canvas and u go wild!! :smiley:

im thinking navy and pink for my walima…or a copper and black outfit which is by fahad hussayn :wub:

thnks im just concern about the fabric becoz it comes frm inlaws so i just want to know that bridal dress can be available in chiffon fabric also and are they expensv becoz i see many bridals wearing banarsi fabric which i dont like becoz some type it hard fabric also .. how can explain to inlaws about chiffon fabric hope they mind as they ask me colours for baraat and valima dress

just say ud like the colours "in a chiffon red , chiffon blue" rather than making it sound like a demand ,include the kapra with the colour .
also explain it falls better since its softer and looks more graceful :)
