The actress speaks of her betrayal by maidservant!
Bipasha Basu was left feeling disappointed following a recent burglary committed by her maidservant. The Bollywood actress lost over twenty six thousand rupees in cash after 26-year-old Jaya Gaurav stole it. The domestic help had been working in Bipasha’s home over the past few years. The police has since recovered the majority of the money, which was wrapped in a newspaper and concealed in the exhaust vent in the main hall of Bipasha’s property.
Jaya Gaurav has also been arrested and admitted to stealing the money. “I noticed small amounts of money were vanishing, which made me suspicious. But I always gave my staff the benefit of doubt,” Bipasha later commented. “I feel betrayed, because I have always treated the domestic help as family members and now they have stabbed me in the back. I guess I’ll have to be more cautious in the future.” *

Bipasha Basu has expressed her delight after featuring in a British television poll of the sexiest moments in cinematic history. A scene for the thriller Jism was declared the 92nd sexiest scene in the poll for Channel 4, who believe it changed the traditional portrayal of women in Bollywood.
