Molana is a great tabhlighi, but like all Tablighi brothers, he is a weak aalim. They sometimes pass things along without confirming them. Molana’s statement about no naam leva of Banu Ummayaa may be one of those claims

There might be many decedents of Banu Ummayaa , but they are not naam lewa of Banu Ummayaa meaning they will not feel proud of their ancestors and that is what Moulana is referring to.
