Re: banquet halls in Manhattan
If you want the best in Manhattan, then go with the Rainbow Room :k:
Although they don’t serve halal, you’ll be able to choose from thier wide variety of exquisite italian & seafood menu.
Re: banquet halls in Manhattan
Is it posible that I can get catering from another place and have the wedding held at rainbow rooM?
Re: banquet halls in Manhattan
My cousin had a wedding there few years back and I remember that some die-hard desi uncle and aunties were served desi food. So I think they will allow you to do that on the side as long as you get the main menu from them. Besides Sara, don't opt for a typical biryani/korma type wedding, but rather have a grand wedding which people will never forget. I know I won't forget this wedding because it was the best I've ever been to.
Re: banquet halls in Manhattan
hmm okay..well i’d like to have non-desi food too, i hate the typical briyani kabab chicken stuff..but we’ll c. this is just the nikkah, actual “shadi”
will be in pak.. but i wanna make this the best tooo ![]()
Re: banquet halls in Manhattan

Re: banquet halls in Manhattan

Re: banquet halls in Manhattan
Sara, check on www.theknot.com. Membership is free, and it has tons of local listings for vendors, reception sites, etc etc. If you're looking for a desi place, you're better off asking around. But if you're open to other places, checking under the knot's website gives you list of all venues that allow outside caterers.
