Aug 14th banner

It’s compettion time ladies and germs :slight_smile:

A competition for a banner, which will be displayed on our main page on 14 August.

So lets have them, and lets have the votes as a secret ballet to me (PM me in order to keep clutter out of the thread) I’ll keep you updated as to the results.

The compettion winner will also get a certificate signed by the Director of Gupshup, in regular mail, provided you want to give us your address, if you don’t, then you will get the same certificate in e-mail.

Wut about the resolution n size n stuff?!?! :)

Thap: Can you please lay down some guidelines as:

  1. Suggested dimensions of the image
  2. Resolution you want it in (72 would be fine i guess if you need to display it on the web site)
  3. Restrictions (if any)

That would be appreciated.

Also if you can let us know the cut-off date, would help a lot as well.

I suggest we limit the size of the banner to 300 x 67 pixels. There is no restriction on file size, but it shouldn't be too heavy, either. It should be GIF, and little tasteful animation will have a much better chance of winning the competition.

I also suggest that a final deadline of August 10, for submitting the entries, as that will give enought time for the members to vote on them and for the mod to tally the votes and pick a winner.

Well, here’s my first attempt…BTW, because of the image size restriction I lost a lot of colors…This size IS 300 x 67 (???) but anywayz, if you guys wanna see some changes done, I am open to suggestions…
