some of you may have noticed that certain forums have trendier banners than others, e.g., Gupshup Cafe and, er…some other ones as well.
Anyway the point is, we need some designs for other forums like World Affairs and Pakistan Affairs. Maybe Chilli/Old Monk can come up with something for World Affairs as he is one of the leading participants/trouble makers there. Anybody else willing to have a go is most welcome.
Pakistan Affairs could maybe have a military theme to reflect our army approach to politics? Or something to reflect the cool wisdom of the Quaid perhaps?
There may be a very handsome prize for the winning design but this has yet to be confirmed. Possible cash prizes could conceivably run into four figures, or there may be an optional holiday on the mediterranean. Unless you already live on the mediterranean - in which case it won’t be much of a holiday really. Especially if it’s near your house.
But I digress. Get designing pronto and earn our eternal gratitude plus possible prize-type goodies!

Why the sudden change?
Pakistan Affairs - Xtreme has mentioned some possible ideas. And I also think a banner which incorporates our Pakistani cultures and traditions would be really nice.
Kashmir Affairs - Akif can give us a lead on what he wants for this forum.
World Affairs - It would be nice to have a banner which is truly global-looking i.e. one that symbolises the multi-national nature of discussion and membership of WA. Hence symbols from North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australia?

Come on Faizan, Haydur and others get cracking on idea’s for the banners. You don’t want to miss out on Xtreme’s mediterranean delights. Believe me you don’t.
