I think our Culture is badly affected by Hinduism…the wedding rasams n all that goes with it…mehandi,mayoon,dowry,we hv forgotten Wht Islam teaches us..all these things are making a simple Sunnah (shadi)hard for those who can’t afford.

You are right that Islam doesn’t teach these things, but nothing can be said with surety whether Hindus follow these traditions due to religion or due to folklore and customs of the area.
