They should be well respected and the history of Pakistan can never show that they ever wanted to harm the country as being from East Pakistan. West Pakistani caused them pain and anguish, but they never did.
I have never met any Bengali,
but my father (when he lived in the UK) he had bengali friends over there,
and all those Pakistanis and bengalis lived together like brothers
The average Bangladeshi couldn't care less about the war anymore and even in the old days most of them weren't stupid enough to hate a whole nation for the actions of an army.. There are a few Pakistani/Bangladeshi marriages in my family and no-one has ever made any snide remarks about it.. Bangladeshis on the whole are quite moderate in most things anyway (inc religion), in that way they remind me a lot of Malaysian and Thai people..
Bangladeshis I have met really despise Pakistan in general. But I have never have problems on personal level. Bangladeshis usually are good friend of Pakistanis.
Some of my friends are Bengalis and they don't have any issues with Pakistanis as far as i'm aware of. If anything we get along really well. I guess the young generation don't really care as opposed to the oldies.
I love Pakistan but I condemn and denounce every Paki soldier/general who did anything against Bangladesh.
I grew up with Bengalis and we feel like one community.
For some reason we Pathans get on better with Bengalis than with fellow Pakis of other ethnicities.
I have faced some racism from our Gujarati Muslim brothers (some not all) but never from Bengalis.
There are a lot of intermarriages between the Pakistani and Bengali community where I live, we pray in the same Mosques, go to each others weddings and funerals..
However I've noticed in other towns that Pakistanis (Punjabis) and Bangladeshis have seperate Mosques? What's that all about?
Islam is against Assabiyyah!
PS. Bengali girls have such nice eyes, hair and skin.
