As you well know, it’s that time of the year that we ought to look back on our history as Pakistanis and acknowledge that the Bangladeshi-Pakistan partition was indeed a massive historical change for the subcontinent.
Bangladeshi culture is heavily influenced by mainstream Indian culture, more so than Pakistani culture.
Lately, in Bridal Asia shows, I’ve been noticing a massive presence by Bangladeshis in Fashion and Beauty.

kinda off topic but I loved going to bangladesh. I had the opportunity to live there for 2 months when I was 15. Ahh, the sangshad bhavan, ramna park, eastern plaza and all the other cool places I got to visit. Those were the days. sigh
And you are right on about their culture being influenced by india. It's a invasion of sort to me atleast.

ok ok fine...we all know our history....you dont have to give all details........thanks....and i dont even understand the reason of celebrating "Bangladesh Fashion" in month of December.......
Soon enough I'll be posting pictures of Bangladeshi fashion...the intent of the thread is this: (I was hoping for some quality replies before unleashing the plan, but what the hey)
Bangladeshis have a major grudge against us due to the abuse they suffered due to our government policies...
Now they are their own nation...they work silently and yet efficiently , IMHO, and its surprising to see the strides they've made in all sectors.
I've been watching their fashion industry grow and flourish - and I can honestly say I find their designs more experimental than Pakistan's...is Fashion another sector that Pakistanis will be left behind in?
PCG, I arrest you for voilating the guidelines of image gallery, you have the right to remain silent, any thing you say or do, can be and will be used against you in the court of law.
yar, grow up dude. They wanted to be an independent nation, besides it happened 30+ years ago so try to forget it, live in the present and think for the future.
Back to the topic, Bangali hoti lash han. Aik alrki thi… udham cheez thi lakin yar us ki shadi ho gye.
