Has Bangladesh Government gone totally paghol?

Looks like a piece of news from Third Reich. If you follow Bangladeshi News Sites and the full coverage of the campaign which led to this decision, the sole motif behind is to stop Bangladeshis from supporting Pakistan. This is clearly an insult to the great game of cricket and how on earth you expect cricket to grow in country like Bangladesh?

I can believe we had people in Pakistan Affairs arguing how Pakistan should look up to Bangladesh. Actually speaking of Politics, move this thread to All Views or Pakistan Affairs, please. I need to have some people’s views on this.

Seriously, every single step that bangladeshis are taking these days, makes me wish they should be thrashed and spanked by every team in every single freaking match.
On a sad note, it really proves we muslim countries whether its BD, pak or egypt have almost no tolerance for things that are actually not a very big deal.

SO how would they know that I am not a Bangladeshi if I am flying a pakistani flag? I was told that I look bengali. Will they come and check my ID?

So what if they are not carrying a flag but are dressed is green and white? Or have a picture of Jinnah, or a banner that reads march 23? What then.

First India filing treason charges against Kashmiri students for supporting Pakistan and now B’Desh banning waving of foreign flags as some Bangladeshis couldn’t hide their love for team Pakistan. All that over a game for cricket? I appreciate sport rivalries but this is getting ridiculous. What happened with freedom of expression, freedom of speech, freedom of association? Shouldn’t these countries be put on a blast?

But on positive side, looks like Pakistan team even at it’s worst is pretty successful at winding people up.

Do not call such sorry souls ‘liberals’ even as a joke.

Either those so called liberals need to decide that Taliban are enemy and Pakistan is in a state of war against them (and had been since past 13 years) or cut the chase and prove that Talibans are sitting in the Parliament, they make up a big chunk of Pakistani Civil Society. Pakistani constitution and courts have given them legal permission to blow up people. The attack on Sri Lankan Team was also done on President’s order.

Any individual who uses Taliban to pass bigoted, insultingly patronising, insolent remarks against a nation of 180 million should be condemned and put in his/her place. Pakistanis must not put up with this BS.

This is only because of Lady Hitler so called Haseena Wajid. She has been blind in hate of Pakistan. All of Bangalies don’t hate Pakistan.
Just think if this type of action taken by Pakistan ? All of the dogs start barking on this issues and demand to move World T20 from Pakistan.

Best thing would be now is for Pakistan to win the cup and get trophy from Haseena Wajid :smiley: but she might chicken out like she did in 2009 Asia cup when Pakistan beat BD on last ball
