I agree with the overall sentiment, but I think BOTH sides need to move on. Personally Musharaaf did enough. For me ‘‘regret’’ is the same as apology. Haseena needs to grow up and move on though.

Not really, from religion perspective a “tauba” is incomplete if you only ask for ‘forgiveness’ (apology) without ‘regret’. In any social relationship when one commits wrong with other ‘regret’ is nothing unless the wrongdoer apologizes.
