ahhhh... sorry, it is bad risk management by Pakistani banks and businesses.
National Bank is a joke when it comes to getting loans on political basis. Pakistanis have been looting it for far too long. No problems agar Bangladeshi bhi behti Jamna mein haath dho lain. Of course, Mian Mansha has political connections too. Serves him right to set up industry in Bangladesh instead of influencing policy makers in Pakistan.

Well it is fault of corrupt PPP and PMLn. These textile manufacturers went to Bangladesh following no support from govt. In pakistan, these industrialists are building plazas, manufacturing cars and cosmetics and buying real estate to loot average class. This is the actual cause of rapid urbanization and govt hardly care.

Pakistami investors were keen to move and have Textile units there, have malls and what not...right or wrong, it was FDI ti Bangladesh, what happens to a country who play like this with FDI??? Today they fooled in Pakistani investors and ate their billions...what guarantees other may have???

On the other hand, Bangladesh should not take revenge National Bank, Nishat Mills and Naveena Export. They are business group and that are intended to bring prosperity in Bangladesh and also in Pakistan.

Bad business decision by the bank, it should have done its' homework prior to issuance of loans. Frankly speaking, Banks are a business institution and saw potential for profit (interest earnings or otherwise) and took a leap of faith, if the investment doesn't pan out as envisioned, it's the cost of doing business. Maybe going forward Pakistani institutions will avoid doing business with Bengladesh nationals until they furnish substantial guarantees to ensure the investment will be secured.
On the other hand, I hope this allows for internal investment instead of branching out, so that Pakistan can see more job production and employment instead of outsourcing.

That reminds me of Pakistan Cricket Board graciously providing test-status to Bangladesh ... and later Bangladesh later refusing to visit Pakistan and arresting a person raising Pakistani flag.
