Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Maududi’s works in the 1940 on the nature of the Islamic state are pretty logical. The text of a speech by Maududi that I read in book form on the nature of the political system of Islam can be found at the link below. It includes a clarification of what separates the Islamic form of democracy from the western form of it.

Interestingly, Maududi also stressed that non-Muslim citizens of an Islamic state should have the right to criticise Islam, within limits. In Pakistan today, it seems that non-Muslims have no commonly accepted right criticize Islam in any way… Pakistan’s attitude to religious matters is deviated very from not only Jinnah’s views, but Maududi’s too.

Political System

Ironically, it was maududi who led the charge against ahmedis in the early fifties, so much so that he was on death penalty but only for his luck that he didn't get the rope.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Caliphate is a part of islam just like going on hajj or praying is part of islam.

you cannot cut it off as if it is not in the hearts and minds of the muslims.

If the Europeans can have a united states of europe i don't see why one day the muslims cannot have their nations melted into one called the islamic caliphate.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

There is no united states of europe considering the concept of khilafat that is being presented here.

And how is khilafat like hajj and namaz? It is just a label that was slapped on dynastic rule in the history of muslims.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Oh really!!! My ignorance!!! I never knew that having a caliph is a fard in Islam. Akhi, plz let me know which verse of holy quran commands us to have a caliph. JazakALLAH in advance.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

europe is a union don't you even know that sheesh. The muslims can have a uniion inshallah it come soon as caliphate.

you claiming caliphate of umar bin khattab(ra) is label slapped as dynasty of muslims

what about caliphate of abu bakr as siddique(ra) or harun al rashid

only a buffoon or secular fundamentalist would dismiss 1400 years of caliphate rule where wealth, progress and scientfic discoveries was unmatched where even the jews called their lives under the caliphate their golden era.

what do the jews say about life under secular history how they treated they was annihilated by more secular fundamentalists in nazi germany.

and you want to mock islamic history, look at your secualr history and then laugh because its failed the world even in 2013.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Evidence for Muslims is not just quran majority of muslims evidence is also to be found in the sunnah of the prophet (saw) which we know as the authenticated hadiths.

now onto your question:

"And rule between them by that which Allah revealed to you, and do not follow their vain desires away from the truth which came to you". [TMQ 5:48]

"Indeed, we have revealed to you the book with the truth so that you may rule between mankind by that which Allah has shown you" (TMQ 4:105).

2 ayahs of the many in the quran prove muslims must establish allah(swt) ruling system.

''The One who dies without an Imam he dies the death of Jahiliyyah''. Reported on the authority of 'Umar by at-Tabarani and Abu Nu'aym.

imam in this hadith means the islamic ruler of the muslim i.e caliph

Imam Muslim narrated from Abdullah bin 'Umar who said that the Prophet (saw) said, "One who dies without having bound himself by an oath of allegiance (to a Khalifah) will die the death of one belonging to the days of ignorance"

Imam an-Nawawi (rh.a.) said, ""(The scholars) consented that it is an obligation upon the Muslims to select a Khaleefah".

Imam Muslim narrated the Prophet (SAW) that he said: "The Prophets used to rule Bani Israel. Whenever a prophet died another prophet succeeded him, but there will be no prophets after me; instead there will be Khulafaa' (Khalifahs) and they will number many". They asked: what then do you order us? He said:** "fulfill allegiance to them one after the other. Give them their dues. Verily Allah will ask them about what he entrusted them with".**

one more evidence which describes perfectly what happens without a caliphate. Today this is exactly our situation.

Imaam al-Ghazali (rh.a.) describing what is situaton without a caliphate "The judges will be suspeneded, the Wilayaat will be nullified, ... the decrees of those in authority will not be executed and all the people will be on the verge of Haraam".

after these couple of examples there is no doubt muslim must have an islamic ruling system over them and they must have one muslim ruler which is called the caliph.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

First of all, there was NEVER any 1400 years of khilafat so quit your lying. Secondly, how did the succession work out from one caliph to the next, unless you are one of those talibans who relish the idea of murdering one leader to get into power?

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

What an ignorant post.
so who is your caliph these days? Mullah Umar of Taliban fame?

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Was. The 10 year Treasury yields a pittance. Savings interest miniscule.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Could you please enlighten me on what these scientific discoveries were..

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

You must be either a buffoon or a secular fundamentalist. I suggest you acknowledge the benefits and glory of the caliphate rule starting yesterday.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

there was algebra and the string they use to tie up after surgery that comes from a goat? But Rommel is on a neocon cruise with his caliphate wonders like many americans who idolize the Reagan or the good old days.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

I think you need to read about Muslim or Arab history of many scientific inventions and ideas and Stromraiser, Southie should also do the same.

Ignorance is not an excuse.

People from background of many religions invented a lot of items and those certainly included Muslims.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

But tell me, what good is that history doing for muslims these days? Is that winning them any accolades (forget nobel, there is a conspiracy against muslims there.... :D ) but how many top drug companies are there like Teva that corner so much of the American pharmaceutical market?

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

I think you have no idea what people who are Muslims still doing a great job all over the world and a whole lot of them are acknowledged but still a whole lot of them are not.

There is a bias and there is consistent and systematic way of people with Muslim name being put aside. Trust me on that one since I am not going to write my personal knowledge on this and you are free to doubt and not agree.

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

There was bias against Jews but we still know Einsteinn, don't we?

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

The discussion was started from misconception that somehow Muslim states did not bring scientific discoveries.

I gave you answer for that.

Then I acknowledged a whole lot of discoveries were made by non-muslims as well.

Then the recent days bias.

Now, historically speaking many civilizations brought many good things one after other.

The methods by which people get recognized or ignored is changed. There is a method that one has to go through such as
being a member of a scientific society,
being able to publish personal work,
being able to go to conferences,
being able to patent the item,
having the right tools,
financial support for research work and equipments
having the desire and passion to be recognized

and this means there are many different levels an entrepreneur or inventor has to go through before that person gets recognized.

Bias at any level may not get the person recognized.

There are many people who bring great ideas and theories and they get mocked at very early level but interestingly, still those ideas get picked up by those who have connections...and means to publish their work.

There is plagiarism even in the field of Science.

Let me be clear, I am not saying Einstein should not have been recognized here. Definitely a great scientist. But in early stages he was not and could not get a job of his liking after he got diploma. He moved out of Europe and saved his work and got even more recognition. He had left when Hitler came in to power in 1933 and did not go back.
He was so well known that he was even offered presidency of Israel which he declined.

Again, you are free to disagree. We have gone far from the thread topic already. :)

Re: Bangladesh amends war crimes law, mulls banning Islamists

Do you read the articles that you post or simply google them and then post them.

From the first article —

Anybody can claim anything. It needs to be substantiated.

Hindus believe that Rama used Pushpaka Vimana, the first aeroplane. It is all a matter of perception.
