Anyone from there or been there?
My dad’s visiting there for the annual food fair and he has askd me to give him my list of things i want him to bring for me. So i need some help!!!
Tell me what’s their special stuff? how’s the fashion? Any nice shopping malls?..any website online from where i can check out their stuff?

^I have been to Bangkok many times.The city of Bangkok is an interesting place to hang out and have fun.
You can buy local artifacts ,Natural Herbal medicines.Garments are cheap (I do not know where you live,though).
Mah Boon Krong is an old one and quite famous.
Central World,Siam Paragon,Pantip Plaza(for IT products),Peninsular Plaza(ask for Ratchadamri Road) -Known for jewels.... A very expensive!!! Again Rama III is there....you get almost everything there..........
Better avoid electronic goods from Thailand...................... One can see Rolex and other priminent watches,with their alluring logos and styles even being sold in local shops!!! The difference is,they are not originals!!!
I believe the place is too great for a bachelor like me!!!(I hope you can figure out what I mean)
(South East Asian countries stricly prohibit drugs/Narcotic transportation and is dealt with severe punishments including death. If somebody is taking any medicines,its better to carry a medical prescription from a doctor.Again there may be drug carriers present in terminals.If somebody is requesting for holding/keeping their luggage/es,pls be humble enough to turn down the request.Ther usual victims are unsuspecting ,innocent passengers).
Keeping this in mind,Bangkok and whole of Thailand is a great place to be in and watch.There are elegant beaches and other popular hang outs.One can also make a way to Pattaya and Phuket.....
I am sure Bangkok will offer a great stay and pleasure times.
Bangkok is one of my favourite places, might be going there again next month 
Best shopping malls are MBK, Siam Paragon and Central World.. also there’s a great weekend market, Chatachuk Market, but he might find it unbearable walking around in the intense heat.. clothes and shoes are ridiculously cheap in the markets and at MBK and the people are lovely..

Agree with Arleitter about the electrical goods.. defo wouldn't ask dad to get an ipod, iphone etc. from there cos more than likely he'll end up with a fake..

Ask him to get some fake jewelery. They make most realistic fakes there.
