I’ll be going to Khi in a few weeks to shop for my wedding, I’A.
The theme for my mehndi is bandhani. Anyone know where I can find nice badhani material in Karachi? Any place where I can get it done or buy a ready-made outfit/dupattas?

naqsa, i got a chunri/bandhani lehnga made for my aunt's mehndi a couple of years back. my khalas took me to tariq road, and i remember after asking around alot, we were directed to this store more towards the back of T.R that carried a huge selection of chunri prints. i got a maroon print for the lehnga, yellow top, and the dupatta was yellow/maroon with gold and sheesha work all over it.
Naqsa, if you know anyone that can get you some from Multan/Bahawalpur ask them! They have such pretty colors now and they do it on silk, chiffons and any material u want. I've seen some in navy blue and turquoise, peach and lavender and copper and maroon.

Chunri Mehndi Ideas.
Hey ppl! LOVE GS!
Now i am sooo excited i am designing my cousin/sister 's mehndi outfit.. she has left it all upto me - the sharara is going to be her mother's and its offwhite and gold kimkhwab -
i have decided to make a chunri open front shirt with a fair bit of work since the sharara is plain. the duppatta in one color with three color patta patti finishing on the back of it..
Cna you guys help me with any pictures of Chunri possible.. Tia!

Hey guys, just to update you on this...when iw as in Khi i found good quality chunri to be pretty pricey. I did buy an unstiched shirt and dupatta for myself from jabeens and i think we paid around 10,000. It has some kamdani on it as well. They didn't have many colors but I was able to find a pattern in rasberry pink and aqua blue.

Oh and to add to that, they said that the chunri and the kaamdani were done in Multan so it's the best quality out there. It's done on crepe silk.
