Banaspati or Basmati?

Back home we used to have big sacks of Rice clearly labelled Banaspati rice, here Banaspati is called Basmati? Kon saheeh hai??

Banaspati is urdu word and Basmati is Hindi Word

Banaspati is a type of ghee!
Basmati is a type of rice.

we know Banaspati is a Brand of Ghee .. but wut he said we called Long Grain rice BANASPATI as well dats the special kind of rice

and wut we have here in UK is called BASMATI , so he want to know why dats called BANSAPATI and BASMATI

abbay yaar, UK is messed up. seriously...wahan kay desi bhi na, koi cheez to jaantay nahin hain.

banaspati isn't a brand of ghee. it's a type of ghee. dalda is a brand of ghee.
basmati is a type of rice...LONG grain of rice. it isn't ghee.

dekho, nikky is a punjaban. woh bhi india ki. theek? ab punabiyon kay ilawa aur kaun khata hai itna ghee? to wouldn't she know better what is ghee and what is chawal?
