Bad dialogue, horrendous errors in plot, flat characters, stripping of important emotions, and the painted backdrop sceneries.

and i have seen indian music videos (if u can call that stuff music)… indian serials (yes the 10,000 episode ones) and indian movies (yes the movies that are all “inspired” by either an old pakistani movie or an english movie) that are a million times worse than any of the really really bad pakistani films that i have seen

Please just don’t even go there…Jamshid Hasimpour (Iran’s best actor) is no way near as good as ANY Indian actor.
Infact he is so bad, he should be made to watch Nadeem, Wahid Murad, and Mohammed Ali films as a punishment.

No I mean quailty of the films, and the story lines.. They tend to be very deep, and make you think, very intelectual... I find the acting to be good for the most part.. Usually the stories are so intresting you over look minor flaws.

Compared to Pakistani movies, definitely Yes. However, when compared with Indian movies, the Iranian movies have no chance. Even Abbas Kiarostami has said this.

Plus Indian actors are limited in their emotions... Sad, happy, in love.
Their story lines are hollow, and artificial. They present a dolled up fake world which has nothing to do with reality..
They have their occasional good films like LAGAN... But the suck for the most part.

I dont think so… In terms of bdget, glitz and glamour then definently India.. But despite a small budget and so much censorship Irani films have accomplished far more then India.
Kiarostami is underestimating the worth of these films horribly if thats what he said…
Plus how many Irani films have won world wide acclaim as compared to Indian films? Bollywood makes the most movies in a year, and yet most of their films are garbage. The ones that do become a hit are the ones with big names and those are the fims that often sacrafice qualty for the sake of having big name stars…
But definently Pak films are teribble. Just another victim of our moral brigade, that plus the lack of quality artists. The ones that are their arent really given the support the deserve…
