forget botham for a second...we all hate him and he hates us...so screw him....
but here is a question that I have for everyone o KK...imagine if nasir hussain, holding or gavaskar had made the following statement:
"The public pays the money to come and watch the game. What do they do (or think of) if a catch goes down or someone bowls a no-ball on purpose? Match fixing is appalling, it's farcical and it's gone on for too long now. It needs to be stamped out. If you have a cancerous problem you get to the root of it. Pakistan should be banned from international cricket until corruption allegations against their cricketers have been fully investigated because PCB has been kept on sweeping things under the carpet -- enough is enough. If it means giving guys amnesty, saying, 'Come clean, guys, tell us what happened, then we'll move on', whether they have to serve a ban -- that's for the ICC. But ICC needs to do more. The ICC need to wake up, they need to get off their backsides. From what I can see they haven't done very much at all. And I would like to know how Ijaz Butt knows what the bookmakers are doing. Maybe he should tell us something"
be honest....what would be your reaction?
My reaction would be the same as to Botham's statement. No it is not right. You don't punish the whole team for a few bad apples. What would be your reaction if every Pakistani origin person was deported form USA because a few guy's committed terrorist activities there. What would be your reaction?

Ehsan bhai, do you really think it is a case of 2 or 3 bad apples who acted in isolation? Well my response may sound insane but it is not a case of 2 or 3 bad apples….it is a systematic failure of Pakistani cricket and that too for over 18 years….at least 7 players are involved if not more (by choice or by pressure) and an independent investigation can prove that…kamran akmal, shoaib malik, salman butt, mohammad aamir, mohammad asif, wahab riaz, umar akmal and the list simply goes on…
and before this team, at least 10 players were fined by justice qayuum…..i repeat, 10 players were fined and found guilty as a result of a judicial inquiry done by no one else but a Pakistani judge….from akram to salim malik to ijaz to musthaq to waqar to saeed anwar to inzi to saqlain to ata rehman to moin khan…..ahh the list is just too long…the whole team was involved in match fixing…that is precisely why no new player was allowed to establish by this current corrupt "tola" as well as by old gang...kitnay bright players ka career katham ho gaya because of that...and if someon wanted to stay in the team, he had to become corrupt....
so help me understand how come it is a problem that is confined around 2 or 3 players? It is not a coincidental failure…..it is a structural failure…see the real problem is inefficiency of PCB and its continuous denial to take strict actions…and PCB is again resisting an independent investigation…..no one wants to ban Pakistan from playing cricket but if our board does not act in a serious manner, what other choice do we have but to ban Pakistan until it puts his house in order?…and yes, if majority of mosques and Muslims in US are involved in terrorist propaganda and illegal activities, I will also be asked to leave US as well even though I may very well be a law-abiding citizen…
if the man had the courage of his convictions he would have refused to comment on subsequent games. its rich if you're calling for a team to be banned and then going off to do the pitch report.
