Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Here is the Original source of the news . This is an Egyptian news site:

Now if our own kind are spreading the rumors , or is it a truth we will find out only if this is implemented.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

^@Muzna if you havent actually interacted with these arab ladies right inside their house at their parties, you really wouldnt have an idea. And im not talking here about ME or Turkey or Egypt here, which are comparatively much lenient and fashionable. I had a chance to be at their Eid Party lat eid, and do they move heavens and earth only for the day! they do their hair in hollywood style, blonde and curls and all that; they wear same makeups and they even tend to dress westrenised, all low necks and thighs high dresses. Honestly we the pakistani guests were the only ones in proper dressing and I couldnt even lift my eyes and look at them properly. the lot looked so… behooda :halo: Or maybe simply because it was a cultural shock :frowning:

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

hayeee not the ‘hijabi parting hard’ debate again.

Let them get wild

In-terms of this new law, Saudi’s are just getting closer to their very own protest like the rest of Middle East. IA’

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Lol, I miss that hijabis gone wild thread :D

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

@mirage – no need to convince me dear…I’ve heard it all before…

@Gaia – don’t worry Gaia…I’m not getting into it this time… unn ka dil nahin hota kya?

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Lol phuleez! All you have to do is walk into a public building and see the working women (including plenty of non-nationals) who don't even wear a hijab let alone cover their seski eyes!

I don't think the ban is going to come into place. If it does, I *have *to go check out the place afterwards! :D

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

and what of the women who think they have seski eyes and are not asked to cover them?

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

I agree with mickey here.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Won’t they have to first force all the women to cover their faces and don hijabs first? :konfused:
ehhhh and how will they impose this rule in certain cities like Jeddah where I’ve never even seen mutawaa in all the years I’ve lived there

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

i saw a muttawa in the main bazaar here the night before Eid and he was in his car gesturing to a filipina to cover her hair, she had her hair open without a scarf on, and she was with her hubby, there were no words exchanged and the woman kept on walking (she did tie her hair in a loose ponytail after that). It was so surreal, so long I've been here and that's the first time I saw something like that happening.

Many women (saudis included) don't even cover up their faces here, so this 'rule' might be made applicable to Riyadh or surroundings, hopefully not here.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Who will decide if a women has beautiful eyes, would it not become a race among the squint to “shield” their beautiful eyes.

I mean seriously, the accuser will have to go to the court to get a conviction or the Shurta will decide at the spot by diving deep into the eyes?

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

I don't beleive it, our islam just not impose such thing on women except to cover their hair only. Agar woh itne stupid hain keye eyes se seduce ho jate hain tou Allah he unpe reham kare aur woh apne demagh ka elaj karwain.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

I've looked for the article in the Al-Watan saudi news site in Arabic and I can't find it ... instead I have an article from Kuwait and this other one from Egypt that Mirch has posted ... and it mentions that people from the committee got into a fight over the eyes, but it doesn't say that it is going to become a "law" ... In fact this committee has be known to "enforce laws that is a figment of their imaginations" because no one holds them responsible they are a law unto themselves.

It appears the regulators need to be regulated in Saudi ...

There is some truth in the story, but I fail to see that the OP is the proper version of it.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

am not sure with the authencity of this news. Seems too OTT.

Like would they have the OO oo aa Sesky eyes police ? Or would they have those women determining this sister has tempting eyes :smack:

honestly if this law is implemented, I dunno what Saudis are coming to !

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Does not Islam also tell us to live decently? Men who shall turn their gaze to the ground and women who shall not present their amenities? This is what I have I've been taught. The Picture on the previous page is showing 1000 % the opposite. Now call me an extremist and answer Allah (swt) when he will ask you. As I know Hadhrat Umm-ul-Momineen Aicha (ra) never showed her amenities to strangers. And now people want to have different opinions or live Islam like they want. Great.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Even if She would have, I'm sure the people of that time would have looked away due to their great faith.. It's split up 50/50 for man to gaze at the ground and woman not to be so 'pink'. You're pretty much saying to put women in boxes and looking at the boxes is haram.

I wanna see how this is implemented if it's true though LOL.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

^

Completely wrong approach. There is no difference between the times of Muhammad (saw) and the times we have now. If we people would want we could have the same great faith our ancestors had, but we are busy in discussing unnecessary topics like **Saudi Arabia to ban sexy eyes from Public or something like that. **It's true that the approach of Saudi Arabia's Government towards this issue is completely wrong. Allah gives guidance and this is why Muhammad Mustafa (saw) was sent to Mankind only as a warner.

When Men shall turn their gaze to the ground they are in the same box as you have put women in boxes. There is no difference. It is forbidden to show amenities to strangers and in Public. This is not the box I have created, this is what Islam teaches us. If you accept these teachings, accept it. If you don't, then don't. It does not mean that you shall destroy people's great faith with ignorance and when people claim to be Muslims, but have no Knowledge then there is great danger. If you and all others had only little Knowledge about this topic instead of wasting your precious Time in Life & Relationships which only the great one can solve there would've been no need that I had to tell you this all. These are teachings of Islam. Before you call me a extremist go and read for yourself the Holy Qur'an and read about the Sunnah of Rasool-ul-Allah Muhammad Mustafa (saw).

I owe you nothing.

P.S. I forgot to explain you the depth of the box which you have put around my neck.

"For a disbeliever, this World is like a Paradise and for a Believer this World is like a Prison"

As I said earlier, I owe you nothing.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

The committee, which only accepts and trains volunteers, has questionable powers on the Saudi street, as they operate under the supervision of the King himself.

A Wikileaks document released last year mentioned that “wild Western-style parties” are regularly held at royal palaces in Jeddah, away from the reach of the committee, who stands helpless against any royal violations.

It was reported that the parties had alcohol, drugs, dancing and sex, according to American consulate wires published by the whistle-blower organization.

Re: Ban on Sexy Eyes in Saudi Arabia?

Now this is stretching laws way too far. That is why i despise their concept of law. You know i always have had urge to beat mottaways..
