Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
As much as I would like to agree with you on this because I find that you only want to create a situation that avoids violence I am forced to disagree, because the solution you provide favors the people who are behind these attacks. They want a stop to these processions and “conferences” as you call them. Can you or anyone in Pakistan for that matter guarantee the safety of minorities if they stop these processions(not to say that they should stop with their processions)? If you can then you will have a point to endorse but seeing as you neither have the data nor the right interests to back up your claim of how this ban will create a peaceful situation it seems rather ignorant to suggest such a half-baked solution to the problem. IMO this ban will work only to serve the interest of those terrorists and war mongers who want nothing but to destroy the peace of the nation.
What I would suggest is that the process be made more streamlined and the local authorities provide more support to these processions whilst also thinking of those who are not in attendance so that the traffic situation can be dealt with more efficiently. Banning it all together will hurt the sentiments of the people involved and we only want peace not war!
P.S I italicized a part of your statement for a reason think on it.
