Baluchi Hindus?

In this thread (http://www.paklinks.com/gs/showthread.php?t=284730&highlight=ethnicity) someone mentioned Baluchi Hindus. I’m curious to know if there actually are ethnic Baluchi Hindus (those speaking Baluchi) or they are just Hindus settled in Baluchistan (but speaking some other language like Sindhi).

Re: Baluchi Hindus?

Famous actor from the old days Raj Kumar, was a Baloch Hindu.

Thanks for the info... never knew that Raj Kumar was born in Baluchistan. Sorry to sound like I'm nitpicking but the link doesn't say if he was a native Baluchi. His ancestors could have settled down in B'stan. I say that because Baluchis are Iranian people (like Pashtuns) and historically they have been Zoroastrian or Greco-Buddhist but never Hindu.

Re: Baluchi Hindus?

I heard Shahrukh Khan is one.

Shahrukh is neither a Hindu nor Balouchi (he's originally from Peshawar)!!

I heard same thing about Dr. Qadeer Khan!

Re: Baluchi Hindus?

There are loads of Balouchi hindus in Karachi as well.

Qadeer Khan doesn't sound like he's a Hindu... the question was about Baluchi Hindus. Plus, I thought QK was from MP in India (called Central Province pre-1947).

Re: Baluchi Hindus?

You are right.
