If I was the PM or President I would do the following.

1. I would fly to Quetta and meet the Provincial Government. I would do all of this without any security escort.
2. I would request meetings with community elders to see what can be discussed.
3. I would visit villages out in the insurgency controlled areas without a military escort and sit down and discuss matters with them.

I would follow all of this up with sending in quick teams to build tube wells and provide buildings for schools. I would then focus on road and rail networks to ensure accessibility. I would then follow up all of this with more focus on extending the writ of the government and eroding support from the insurgency.

I wish you were the PM But unfortunately the incumbent PM and his predecessors never saw the issue from the eyes of an ordinary Pakistani. Balochistan has been subjected to a stereotype strategy for decades. I wish those who matter, realise that Balochistan needs a very basic approach — that is love, care and attention.
