Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Now that’s a good sign. Just shows the new generation is fed up with old fundos!

Better would have been, if she were to marry Hafiz Saeed. Then both these Fundos (Thakrey + Hafiz)would be pre-occupied to sort out their differences at home and we people of Pak and India would have had a little breathing space.

Bal Thackeray’s granddaughter marries a Muslim

Extremist Hindu party Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s granddaughter Neha Gupta married a Gujarati Muslim in Mumbai on December 4, media reports said. Neha is the daughter of Bal Thackeray’s eldest son late Bindumadhav. Neha, 25, has married Muhammad Nabi, 27, son of an old friend of Bindumadhav and Raj Thackeray. The marriage has further cemented the family’s bond with the MNS leader. The entire family, excluding Bal Thackeray, attended the wedding at Hotel Taj Lands End. Neha’s mother Madhavi Thackeray welcomed guests like Manohar Joshi, Ram Kadam, Ashish Shelar, Gopal Shetty, Nitin Sardesai and wife Swati, Mangesh Sangle, Shirish Parkar, Shishir Shinde and others. Raj Thackeray, too, attended the reception, along with his wife and sons, reports said.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Do I look like I care? I don't like Fundos and I don't like FOTB Neocon-boot-licking Desis ... trying to become something they can never be.

Now take a hike.

Re: Bal Thakrey’s grand daughter marries a muslim

Oh great.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

you made my day, gracia mucho !

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Yes, I would. Let people live their lives and keep religious matters between them and their God. Its no ones business who or how you worship.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

well done neha and nabi , young generation are free from evils of the older who exploit religion and shed blood for their personal gains .times are changing for the good .now a days intercaste and interreligion marriages are rising on a very fast pace in the metropolitan cities of india , relatives from both sides too participate in these marriages without any inhibitions of difference in religion .

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

indik - agree with everything - unfortunate use of the 7-letter f word.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Good sign - if I recall you were against rights for minorities such as gays in Pakistan - maybe time for change is here - not just for religious tolerance, but tolerance across the spectrum.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

What people do behind their four walls and how they live, as long as it does not include killing, raping etc., I don't care.

If you want to be a gay behind your four walls, I don't give a tiny rats a$$ about that.

But if you want to legalize it, sorry, I am completely against that. Per constitution we are an Islamic country, we do not want outright Sharia in our country, but we also do not want any law which totally goes against our religion.

India, however at least on paper, is a secular country and no one is stopping her to legalize homosexuality. Go and campaign it there.

If it is legalized, where are you gonna stop then?

What if tomorrow someone else comes with an idea that he be allowed to have sex with cats, dogs and God knows what, and Govt. should legalize it?

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Therein lies your inconsitency. you preach tolerance elsewhere. But when it comes to Pakistan, youwant Islamic laws applied.

Your last sentence is somthing the right wing in the west uses - comparing gay sex to sex with animals.

You should take a lot of comfort that your views are identical to extreme right wing religious fanatics in the west.

You are right "What people do behind their four walls and how they live, as long as it does not include killing, raping etc., I don't care."

Practise religion within your 4 walls - do not impose it on the general population. Your post is clear indication that India withall its faults is streets ahead in terms of progressiveness.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

^^ Why don't you set an example by legalizing homosexuality in India first and then come back and preach us about it?

So much of "preaching tolerance elsewhere but not practicing in own country"!!!

Besides, this topic belongs to another thread, if you want to discuss it further go to the relevant thread.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

This forum is abt expressing individual opinion. As an individual, i support gay rights, women's rights, minorities (muslims included)rights. As a US citizen, I vote in favor of it

as for this topic not belonging to this thread, last I checked, you raised this topic here.

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Indik's liking your postis clear indication that discrimination in India against gays is alive and well by the way, and so is use of the word faggot either in this or another thread. So u are preaching to the choir - India also has lots of room to progress

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Pakistan's constitution guarantees rights for women, minorities and so on. You are welcome to read it, if you don't believe me.

(Further discussions about legalizing Homosexuality on the other thread pls.)

Re: Bal Thakrey's grand daughter marries a muslim

Very good. I thought homosexuality is not legal - so both Pakistan and India's constitution do not guarantee rights for minorities.

Thanks - we sure can continue this discussion wherever you please, or not.
