there are needy families here.....but there are also systems in place that keep them from going hungry.
I highly doubt that the local needy families go for months without eating meat like many poverty-stricken folks do in Pakistan.
the objection presented to me is not about doing the qurbani yourself.....but about distributing 100% of the meat. I am repeatedly told that I am wrong to not keep 1/3 for myself.....and this is what simply does not compute for me.
