What are your favourite fillings for baked potatoes? I’m getting bored with the usual cheese and coleslaw combo and fancy trying something more original.

tuna sweetcorn and mayo - BTW rub salt on to the skin before you put the potatoes in the oven to get that "spud u like" look to the potatoe!

i usually have tuna sweetcorn n mayo aswell. once i put in some left over keema and it tasted really nice.

You mean keema on its own, not with the tuna right?
I quite like baked sweet potatoes too, and they look much prettier too.

whats the best way to bake potatos?. I know I gotta bake them but are there any tips on getting perfect results?. I usually wrap it in aluminum foil at 7 pm and sometimes I forget to take it out on time and find it 1/10th the size the next morning.
So, can I microwave it?

^ we usually microwave them.. poke a few holes into the potato with a fork and heat it for i think bout 8min… its perfect :k:

Microwaved potatoes are faster but you don't get that nice crispy skin. Ideally to get the best results you'd have to microwave the potatoe first and then bake it in the oven for the last 10 minutes or so.....but that's not very energy efficient.

There's a scalloped potatoe type of dish my mom used to make. You mix cream of chicken soup in a saucepan with half can of milk, some sour cream to get a thin but not soupy consistancy, then heat it. Pour this over boiled, baked, microwaved potatoes, sliced in a casserole dish. It's really yummy. You can spread cheese over the top and bake for another 20min for a crispy cheesy topping.
