^^^ Not buddies but thugs that realize they need each other. The compromise is that while Hakeemullah is the nominal cheif, it is Wali that has the control of the power base in Waziristan. Good politics by Mullah omar and Haqqanis. The egotistical Hakeemullah is kept satisified while the savy Wali gets the real prize. It can still get ugly between these two thugs if they are put under pressure and need to save their own skins.

Considering how easily they kill "spies", time to start a rumor that one of them is cooperating with the government.

But what is truly nonsensical is the fact that you are avoiding a question that you have troubles stomaching like a bulimic, regarding as to why the poppy cultivation in Afghanistan sky-rocketed following the NATO invasion, and since then, continues to do so.
