You mean with nonexistant morality and rampant prostitution growing at an unbelievably fast rate, legalizing something as disgusting as prostitution is the only solution to all these women-related issues? Not surprised to read that solution coming drom some guy in pakistan. No other solution your mind could think of???

As per you, legalizing prostitution will allow pthe prostitutes to walk around o streets with a bill board in their hands which will restrict the bayghairat bayhaya paki male population to look at other women the way they do now? Why not teach some ‘haya’ to frustrated paki youth and other male population that they would learn to respect women & stop looking at all the women as if they’re out for only one purpose??? Why can a female not be out alone if she is not offerring sex services? Yes I know any such woman is seen as public property and that is the mind set that needs to be changed. Legalizing prostituion will only decay any little hope left (if there is any) to cleanse this great islamic society already damaged beyond repair.

People mistaking random women for hookers would not happen (that much) if sexual service providers were allowed to advertise there services openly. This wouldn’t eliminate street harassment though. That has more to do with our culture in Pakistan and our collective attitude towards women in the society.

My assumption being that street hookers have some special signals they use to advertise (color of clothes, type of shoes, random stuff). Sometimes, regular women end up wearing stuff that might be mistaken for that sign. And this is not me trying to criticize the way women dress. The signal could be something as harmless as a certain color Hijab. Why does happen? Because the hookers can’t advertise openly. And it doesn’t have to be them holding billboards. They could use other avenues. There is internet, phone books, etc. Of course my assumption could be wrong and legalizing prostitution wouldn’t help with this issue at all.
