**There have been two large explosions in central Baghdad along with sporadic gunfire, the BBC reports.**The blasts came in quick succession at around 0730 GMT.
Large plumes of smoke are rising from an area near the Green Zone, close to the justice ministry and the offices of the capital’s governor.
These appear to be the biggest blasts in the Iraqi capital since the ministry bombings of 19 August this year, correspondents say.
