Read many stories in childhood.. with this common theme.
Ek tha Badshah.. Hamara tumhara Khuda Badshah… Badshah ke paas sab kuch tha, magar aulad ki naimat se mehroom tha.. ek din badshah ne takht o taj chhora aur beech raaste main charpai (munji) ulat ke beth gaya. Ek faqeer aya, dosra aaya, teesra aaya… lekin Badshah ne apna gham kisi ko nahin sunaya. Saatwen faqeer ne haar nahin mani aur badshah ne usko apna dukhra sunaya. faqeer ne badshah ko ek patta pakraya aur farmaya: apni Rani ko khiloge to mann ki murad paoge. Badshah ne patta Rani ko khiliaya aur unke ghar chand sa shehzada aya
So simple. So the acceptance of Karamaat is a part of all the cultures? How do you see this trend of Peeri Mureedi and blind faith in society?
Well AKbar made his capital on the site of Sheikh Salim Chisti Dargah, Fatehpur Sikri because of his blessing shezada Salim was born:)
Our stories had "Ek bar bahut hi nirdhan(gareeb) aur asahay(weak) brahman tha:D, but punda instead of blessing did something tricky:) be it about TenaliRamKrishna aur Pt.Birbal

His Mannat of going Nange paon to the Mazar of Salim Chishti is well known in history. He also named the prince Saleem and Shaikhoo :)
I read some translation of russian short stories...and most of them start with" There was poor man named Ivan....:D"
This reminds me of an essay written by a rich girl for a poor family: 'Ek boht hi ghareeb family.. Itni ghareeb itni ghareeb ke unke driver ke paas sirf ek gadi thi' :D
I also went nange paon many a times to Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya on thursdays:D, now he might be thinking “Kaam nikal gaya to pehchanti bhi nahi hai:D”, It is more than a year I visited him:(
