argh..my own mehndi !! One of my mumani was supposed to travel to pakistan for my wedding and her flight was supposed to be here at 7pm and all my other khala’s and mamu’s decided to pick her from the airport and attend my mehndi AND her flight got late by 4 hours and all of them came to the hall when we were done with requesting the hall management to let us stay for extra 2 hours as our guests were not there yet It was a function where we were supposed to have only my side of family and friends because in-laws were in another city and they didnt have to come for mehndi to Lahore. Imagine the embarrasment we had to suffer from !! it was just mamu’s khala’s , some close neighbours and my friends and the whole rasam, food and everything had to be done without them and waiting for them. My sisters wedding was two months after mine and we didnt wait for anyone for her functions nonetheless.

That’s too bad! I guess to be on the safe side, people should always book flights at least 1 day in advance, because these days they are never on time!
