Either you believe in an istikhara or not. If Allah has given you a heart to choose, and your heart is supposedly purely saying this is the person, then how can you worry about istikhara coming differently?
If you are associating both the heart’s feelings as feelings Allah has put in your hearts, and an istikhara as a sign from Allah, obviously these two cannot be disparate.
If you are so concerned, do an istikhara yourself regarding the two of you. The answers cannot be disparate
