For the record I dont think its bad parenting, I do think that it leaves a very unrested parent and that eventually catches up with me.

Isn't there a need for the parents to have some alone time? I would worry less about my children and more about my marriage.

Wow I feel like a very strict parent both our girls ages 3.5 and 2 are sleeping in their own room in their own twin beds as of last year :frowning:
but I am getting so much more sleep and ipad time now :hehe:

my both neices were sleeping in their own room since they were 2 years old....now they are 12 and 9 yrz mashaAllah n they both have seperate rooms....while their little brother sleeps with parents always...he's 5yrz

we had great plans of the kid sleeping on her own. but now we've gotten used to being kicked and scratched by her tiny fists and feet all night. the toddler bed is a place to store toys.
