I am so bad at remembering names or faces and its so embarrasing when people come up to u because they know u and u have no clue who they r. Happened to me twice today, 
i need to start eating badaams :-/

yeah when i go to pakistan and all these aunties give me sloppy kisses and go … ‘aaai kinni pyari shakal nikli hai’ and ur like… hmmmm should i know them?
my .. and i thought i was the only one … happen to me many times … the aunties will be giving me the traditional hugs and kisses and i will be going … haye Allah who’s she 
hehe once i had this girl who must have been only a few years older than me.... go 'aaai tum mujko ithna yaad aathi thi.. ithne saalon ke baad miloo ho... aaai haaai' and she was hugging me and all.. and i felt so bad cus i just didnt know who she was
my cousin later told me she just wanted to show everyone that she knew a 'valaiti' haha.. she was prob like my parents cousins cousins kid.. geez
suroor...let me give you a hint. my name starts with 's'.
Once Hakeem Muhammad Saeed told me in a conversation (khat-o-kitaabat waali conversation although I have met him when I was 8 years old :)) that the best way to improve your memory is to 'teach your memory to memorize' :-)
Happens all teh time especially if you've been to many intitutions (edcational and mental) ..if I don't remeber the name I just strike up a conversation..sometimes I remember in the end...sometimes I just admit my memeory loss :D

the best is when u havent seen someone ever in lur life… except maybe when u were like a lil kid and then u meet this person 17 years later and they give u a hug and ask “baitay jaanti ho main kon hoon?” 
this happened to me this summer in Khi, one of ami’s cousins did this. and i had not even seen him ever inmy life before.
ami had JUST told me who he was before he walked up. saved some embarrassment…
