bad memories in school

was just thinking today of some of the bad memories ive had in school that have left a bitter taste in my mouth and somehow they have minimised all the good times tht i had… one particular one being where i remember we used to have this auditorium in our school and only if you had accomplished something or done something good, you got to go on it, say to receive a certificate or an award or to make a speech… the one time and the only time i had ever done something cool was make this piece of artwork entitled ‘unity, faith and discipline’ (this is going back years now) and my work was acknowledged :yahoo: i got the first prize :hooray: and a certificate and i was soo proud of myself :phati:… until all my hopes were shattered when they called someone elses name out on my work :bummer:!

it was heart breaking!:teary2: and then later infuriating :aj: sigh oh well…

waaan waannn hoo haa… all done with my winging and crying…now your turn

share share!!

Re: bad memories in school

yaad nai

Too many bad memories. The school where I went was where all the weasel girl were sent but I never fit in. My sis before, being the genius that she is had left too many records that all my teachers and parents expected me to meet if not break. unfortunately, they ended up with a sporty, artsy dreamer with me. then there was the matter of being with the snobs of the society also. dont ask as much as going to a convent school was considered a good thing and as much as i wanted to be there there were lots of day when I would have given anything to be somewhere else, under a rock maybe. :( college was another story though.

Re: bad memories in school

Good or bad, I dont know, but following is a brief summary of some incidents while i was at school, that I still remember

  1. First  affair in Grade 6 (was one way :halo: )
  2. Getting selected for a Kids quiz show on TV and then replaced from the team at the last moment (Mrs. Farhat, if you are still alive - I want to tell you that I was really hurt  )
  3. The first mega fight at school (It was over a girl :smack: , Grade 7 - We got beaten fair and square the first time, but after wards regained the lost territory :chai:
  4. Failing the first ever exam of my academic career, grade 9 mid term, biology. Then signed my own report card. Which was discovered by Walid e Mohtaram, and I got the chittrol of my life. And the icing on the cake was the note that I had to take to the class teacher telling her that I had signed my own report card, and she read it front of the whole class :crying:
  5. Caught smoking at the paan shop, when I was in grade 10. Again a repeat performance by Walid e Mohtaram, he broke my cricket bat on my butt (I had a strong butt , or the bat was too weak :hmmm: )

:chai:

Re: bad memories in school

^ ouch ouch ouch :rotfl:
cricket bat??? ouch!!
i dunno why parents of previous generations would hit their kids with anything they get their hands on.
I hope you are not repeating the same mistake on ur kids :stuck_out_tongue:

siblings!! they mess everything up!! i had my brother to blame for that..he was too good in academics and even sports! ah who cares, im better looking than him so, nowi win :D
atleast you came out a better person on the other side, right?

1).. awwwwwww bless
2) that happened to me, but it was for a sports event! apparently i was too slow for a hurdle race :frowning:
3) :hehe:
4) and you shouldnt have signed your report card :nono:
5) of all the places why the paan shop?

Re: bad memories in school

i used to h8 school and have more bad memories than good ones otherwise very similar probs like james bhaand but i never signed my report card and bat se maar bhi nahin piti coz dad still doesnt know woh paan ki dukaan wali baat.but if he even got to know it he wont say anything coz now we're more like friends.

Re: bad memories in school

1. College 2nd Year: Our vice principal was on a rampage to raise the moral standards of our college. We being the badass college students were defiant and would usually skip classes or simply run away from college after marking our attendance. As usual me and a few friends were skipping a class and hiding out in another classroom where the students were off doing their labs. The vice principal caught us and asked us to go back to our class. My best friend was sitting near the door so the vice principal started to unload his fury on him. My best friend warned him twice to stop but the vice principal ignored and continued to smack him. It was only a seconds later that my best friend turned around and slapped the vice principal square on his face. He had a jacket nearby that he rolled over his head and we all joined in. At that time, it seemed like the right thing to do but looking back it is the worst memory. The rest was fun and games. :cheegum:

Re: bad memories in school

Most people find school hard. It was fine for me though.

Re: bad memories in school

ma school days were lovely..................i miss those days:(

The worst memory that I remember was that I bumped into the school principal :o It was pretty embarrassing :bummer:

Well, my revenge is that I am my parents ladlli, so both my sisters are always jealous. even to this day now that we are grownyps they get all pissed off over it. and their smarts has gone to they head :snooty: if you will, at least IMO so that ruins everything. Besides I am much more fun then them. Even their kids say it. MY REVENGE

WHAT!!

Re: bad memories in school

This one time, I was in the 6th grade in Pakiland, was lunch time and me and a bunch of my boys in my class were playing the ever so famous police game. I remember how I always put elastic in my shalwars and that day there was none at home so my mom put the naraa thing in and heheh I was running so hard cause I wanted to win the game and the narra opened and there were hundreds of people around me and my shalwar fell and all I could think of was to spread my legs and wide as I could and stand there so it doesnt fall all the way.. now I dont know how many people saw it go down and how many didnt but I grabbed it and made a run for the restroom!!!! HORRIBLE IS THE WORD!
