bad haircut

One of the worse things about moving to a new place is trying to find new people such as hairstylists, dentist, physician etc.. I recently was told about a really good hairstylist in our area and I made an appt and went in for change in hairstyle. I showed her the picture and explained her what I wanted.

the end result was my hair is 2 inches shorter, hardly in layers and barely any highlights that show up. Her excuse I couldn’t do the exact hair because of the texture of my hair Now i am not only heartbroken with looking at myself in the mirror but afraid to ever try another place. what do you guys recommend i do in future to never let this happen to me?

Re: bad haircut

i think it is a trial and error thing. keep trying new stylists until you find one. i find that the ones that talk too much do a bad job usually. :snooty: never go to cheap salons for highlights or anything major. when trying a new stylist, start with something small like a hair trim or cut.

your stylist should have told you your hair texture is different. normally, they do talk to you about how you want your hair and if it will not suit you, they could give you something similar if possible or if a hairstyle will require too much maintenance or styling, a good stylist will let you know that too.

make sure you can go to the owner of the salon and let them know you are not satisfied at all:snooty:
