Bad habbit of forgetting things......

Re: Bad habbit of forgetting things......

**I'm exact opposite. I tend not to forget things and it isn't fun either. Like I was in Toronto last year for a week and I took subway often so I tried to memorize the subway map and I still remember it even though it has no use for me whatsoever now. Useless info like number of stops between Bay and Scarborough Center, 19, total, 36 and I know their names too. Number of seats on the bus, 38. My current credit card debt. Difference between two "similar" buses. Downtown maps and postal codes. And I remember weird details about trips I took five years ago. In short, its a never ending story.

I can't put my finger on exactly what ticks this behavior but I think its probably chess. I study chess almost religiously and been doing that since I was 7. So I would say try chess. Memorizing opening book moves, and developing falsification strategies do help focus on things going around you. Try ChessPark.com!
