Ever since i was a child iv always liked the bad guy in cartoons and movies…
I remember Shredder, MumRaa, Skeletor and Galvatron being my favourite cartoon villains…i remmeber Gulshan Grover and Kiran Kumar being my favourite villains in Indian flicks…in WWF Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and The Undertakeren and even in TV shows and movies like 24 i almost always root for the bad guy…i used to love Nina Myers…
Am i alone in my support for the bad guys?..

Impulse makes an interesting point...maybe i see myself in the bad guys...thing is why from a young age have i always loved the bad guy...iv never been interested in the heroes...only the villains...
So whilst people were buying Optimus Prime i was buying deceptacons...I hated Hulk Hogan and loved the Undertaker then started disliking him once he became a fan favourite...
So what does introjection mean then?...and surely im not alone in liking the bad guys...

ahem that includes every ethnicity not just desans. til they grow up adn mature girls will always go for the stupid, "bad" boys.. after a certain age, if they keep going after bad guys again and again, it's desparation and low self esteem/self respect.

With regards to the topic, I’m the same, especially when I was younger. I used to prefer Tom over Jerry, Sindy over Barbie, odd numbers over even numbers, salt and vinegar crisps over cheese and onion etc. Yes I’m a freak … i actually feel sorry for numbers and for crisp flavours 
I like talking random jibberish at 3.20 am … never been on GS so late before

Aside from all the cafe-esque flirting in this thread (makes you wonder who the "bad boy" here is) - The issue with "Bad Boys" is not their behaviour - it is their illusiveness and unattainability. Literally and emotionally. It feeds into the females fear of commmitment, which is usually manifests itself in a) destroying a good thing b) chasing that which you are pretty certain will not lead to anything remotely serious. Ie, he will break your heart, you will not end up married to him etc. Also, it is a challange. women are not only creatures of the flesh, of the women I know that prefer the "bad boy" - this plays a big part, we like to chase too - with the nicer guy hes more available and thus attainable, there is no great achievement in it.
Other girls just like the pain.

*** i have an affinity towards “bad boys” as opposed to good guys mostly because there is a certain"honesty" in admitting/ showing ur “bad side”…well at least thats the way i see it …***
besides is there anything like a "good guy/gal " ???
even in movies /flicks i alwayz somehow preferred the villains too … rather than the goody two shoes chocolate hero/heroines
