I am new to this forum and have just spent the past couple of hours reading this thread and think this is most terrible thing that can happen to someone with their wedding outfit. i really feel for this girl who's outfit HH recked.
i will just put something down my grandma used to say
ANEY NU VI DEE DA AH KE AH KHARAB AH.
it means that even a blind person can see that it is not right.

here is the article from Xpose Magazine where they interview various designers about their policies. let me just say, Hajra Hayat is SO SHAMELESS! her answers about her payment methods, etc. and not knowing what is involved are lies- she knew exactly how badly she was ripping off my friend’s sister in law and i love her comment about how “sometimes a client doesn’t even know what they’re ordering”… really??? so that’s how you justify people giving you so much money and you sending them back ****?? wow.

I think all these designers knew they were speaking to the media and answered accordingly about customers are no. 1. rah rah rah
Faraz Manan is pretty rude using the word "random" to describe some of his customers. By the way, he ran off with $4,000 deposit and gave no clothes to my friend's sister's family the night before the wedding!

you know whats really really sad.. how most of her answers are "i dont directly deal with this or that.. and we have a huge business etc".. unlike all the other designers interviewd in that article your the only one who has no experience dealing with any issues it seems..
its really sad to see how low one goes to get money out from someone..

It seems as if the designers who are unprofessional even with the locals will also be unprofessional with overseas customers. We ordered stuff from HH in Pak and my moumanies who live there placed the order...and the same thing happend-no pouch, stiching coming out, no interlocking and the lengha was DIRTY as if it had been on the floor...and RUDE customer service. Anyways in the end it all came out alright...but still totally unprofessional customer service.

when i went to see her in lahore, HH that is, what I found is that she doesn't allow u to have a choice in ur style of outfit, she seems to think 'she knows best' and can whip up something by reading our minds! when my mum asked her to show us her best work, she only had a few samples - 3 - and was not keen with us seeing them - she kept saying 'this is basic' 'i can do this that etc' and was very dominating in the conversation - she doesnt allow the customer to speak! my mum then finally told her that unless we cannot see the quality of a good bridal we couldnt place an order etc - i think she just likes the sound of her own voice
