I am going to be frank as possible without putting too many emotions regarding my experience. I originally sent money in October for a black suit and a formal sari. The black suit, which was a cheap pretty plain suit for 120 dollars, I sent the money via Western Union October 8th (for both sari and suit $720 total), I needed the black suit by Nov 1st, which I didn’t get in time. This was probably my fault for being optimistic and thinking I would get it in time. However, I received the black suit a week later, and it was ok. The sari, which was 600$ worth (I needed by Feb 14th, however requested that it be sent at least a month earlier so I would definitely have it) , I wanted pictures of the process so I could tell her of the color and work (if it was what I was expecting). After several emails in Nov and Dec, she assured me pictures would be sent soon, however, never sent any pictures. I emailed her again in Jan and she told me she would send pictures in a few days. I repeatedly asked her not to send me anything until I have seen pictures and have approved it. However, I received an email a few days later saying she had to send the sari through the mail without pictures so I would receive it in time. She said if I am unsatisfied in any way with the sari she would refund my money.
Reportedly, the Sari was sent Jan 17th, I needed it Feb 14th. I emailed her several times, asking for tracking number (I’m assuming internationally there are none), however did not receive any reply. Feb 14th came and went, no sari. She emailed me on 2/19 (ironically my birthday), saying she had not checked her email for several days (it actually had been 4 weeks before I received a reply), and she was having some family issues and she wished I had called her (this part I can understand, however, most of our communication was through email, and the times we spoke on the phone she called). She said she would check with the post office, however she is not responsible for delays.
Today is March 05, I have not heard from her since 2/19. I have asked for a full refund of the 600$ repeatedly with no response.
This is just my experience. I understand alot of people have had good if not great experiences. Like I said, I am attempting to be frank and just let you guys know what my experience was.
OMG .. I see she is missing ... but 720 is a lot of money, didn't u think u are paying a lot for just a sari and a suit ?
ps. about tracking # .. I recently got my cloths from pakistan with pakistani post WITH a tracking #. Its funny how she didn't sent u pics before sending the outfits and refuses to give u a tracking #. Things seem fishy this way!
Oh poor you..i had a similar experience with her.. in fact i cried my eyes out for that..thank god i got my money without the fee so i kinda lost 100 + dollars but still i got around 90 % of my money back.. she sent me pictures of the complete outfit which was HORRIBLE totally different of what i sent her :(
in my post i mentioned the whole story..but i didn't mention the name as i didn't want any faltu ka drama but i think its high time we should speak about vendors like this...the family problem bakwaas even i've been told when i was asking for my money.
i got my clothes from Proto she is a sweetheart to work with.

guys I really feel that people should come forward and share their experiences..be it good or bad....we usually see people sharing positive feedbacks only..if they have any negative they keep it do themselves for reasons tehy know best.....but see if we are hurt atleast we can do a good deed and save others from getting hurt.....lastly psychpaki...I hope you get your money back
Psychpaki - I am soooo sorry to read your story. That is a lot of $$$. This is the fear with using western union or money transfer. When the vendor does not use Paypal, you are at mercy of whatever they do. Angelwings has been active on this Gupshup for a long time so who would ever expect such behavior from her???
I hope you get your money back. If anyone remembers, I resolved an issue I had with a known Pakistani designer by emailing every single day and posting on this board.
I really hope I get my money back also...and regarding $600 for the sari, it was supposed to be very formal. However, I guess I will never know how it turned out.
^ Hi guys, I discovered Angel Wings thru GS and placed an order for a simple lengha on behalf of someone with a tight budget, there were minor hic cups and for the price paid the lengha was gd and recieevd ok, but other that that ive nt had any other experience with her.

i ordered 11 months ago from her, 8 outfits...i gto 8 of them but 2 outfits were totally different then what i had ordered....i didnt really say much but she told me one outfit wasnt that good and if i dont like it, i can return it and she will make me another one...
so i returned it to her, its now been 6 months, i havnt received that outfit...it was worth atleast £120....ive emailed her texted her but nothing from the past 3 weeks.....this is redicolous....:@
