Is that true as wen i didnt give him money he cursed me bad in regards to my future children .

Lol. When you do give sadaqah/money, make sure it is because you want to from the depth of your heart because you get rewarded for the intention and the action. As for the future and children, your dependence should be on Allah alone. Just be sure that Allah is not upset, all others can come against you in waves and it won't make any difference because Children, Wealth, Health, and all things that happen to us are from Allah alone, some as a result of our good actions and duaas, some as a result of our bad actions and sins, and some others as a test to see how we persevere.

Or you can tunelessly ask, "Mere anganay main tumhara kya kaam hai?" And if the voice behind the door claps and sings back at you.....don't open it.

don't pay any attention to this kinda myths. it's fuzooliyaat. if you haven't harmed anyone, you shouldn't worry. ham tavahhumaat ke shikaar log faqeer, Khusra, saadhoN kii bad-du'aa se Darte haiN...this is just superstition.

live normally and be happy.

We should consider khusras as mazloom, if that's the case then we should try to avoid their bad dua.

I agree not in the way the OP has put it. But we shouldn't mock them, and I believe giving them money is better if it prevents them from doing other bad things.

I know what you mean. This is something that has bothered me, and many others. There was a thread on this topic in General a few months ago about panhandlers. How do you distinguish between the needy, and professional and would it be better spent if you donated to a charity instead? Allah knows best.

begging is a mafia thing now. those guys even kidnap kids, maim them. force them to beg...

...also, they have their designated areas. better not give them any money. best thing is to give money to the ones you know is genuinely in need of help.

I was watching a TV show about them and they are so badly pushed out of society it's unbelievable. The TV producers were following the story of one guy who used to make food for labourers but even they did not want to even touch that food. If no one gives them meaningful employment how can they stop begging. Instead of finding their antics funny I find it quite sad

Baad-dua of any Mzloom can affect you quickly, and since they are known as oppressed persons this is whay it is said.

Or how about you just give without trying to distinguish. Maybe you will get more reward that way. If genuine, then your reward is great. If not, then that is their amal.
