So the last couple days I have been having nightmares. And I don’t know what to make of it. I remember them vividly and although the first time I thought nothing of it, now with the recurring dreams, I am starting to get worried that something bad might happen.
First one I had a couple nights ago, I saw that I was trapped in a spider web and there were 3 black widows caught in the web a little further away from me. I was really scared and kept my gaze fixed at them in case they might move. They didn’t move. They actually looked dead. But then a shadow appeared and he/she took one spider and threw it at me with such force that I actually felt it bite me in my arm where it hit. I woke up screaming that night. Needless to say, I am dead scared of spiders.
The second one was on the next night. I was alone in a boat with no peddles. The boat was moving and I noticed the water was running very fast but it was muddy…kind of like jab aandhi aati hai tu har taraf gard se paani gadla ho jaata hai. The boat was rocking and I was scared it might flip over. I don’t know how to swim so naturally that’s reason to worry. Just then a ship appeared out of nowhere and my boat hit the ship. The people in the ship saw that I needed help but no one tried helping. Water started filling my boat and I think I woke up then…or if I didn’t, I don’t remember the rest of it.
After this, there was a gap for a couple nights and no nightmares. Then this morning I had another one.
I was in Pakistan and I had to make chai for the guests. My family was there and some other people (not sure who). The clay stove was on the ground and as soon as I put tea in the boiling milk, the milk was expired so it started breaking apart and actually poured out of the pot … onto my kameez (daaman pe). It had a rotten smell and no matter how much I tried washing my shirt, the smell wouldn’t go away. Fast forward, and now I’m in the room serving chai and someone says oh my God, what is that smell. And I was really embarrassed but kept quiet. Then I went and sat beside my aunt and she actually pushed me away, covered her nose and said you stink. I am always very particular about smelling good, so this was extremely disturbing.
I don’t know what is going on. Is this a sign that something bad is going to happen? I haven’t been stressed about anything particular until these nightmares started.
If often heared my grandfather talkin about the phases of a night and dreams..
every night can be devided in 3 parts… and every part has a different interpretation… for example a dream about mango’s in the early morning (fajr time) has a meaning that can come true in short time… if you dream about the same mango’s in the middle of the night can come true in long term (etc etc)
Think about how things are going in real life...whether or not you're stressed.....as your dreams can be a reflection of that. Give sadaqa...it's said to ward off calamaties.
it could have to do with what's going through your mind throughout the day. or it could actually mean something. my mom sometimes texts me random dreams she has about me and many come true in a creepy way.
Are you maybe having some money-related issues??
Your dreams seems to have a negative meaning. Try not to tell anyone, instead seek refuge in Allah from the Shaitan (auzu billahi minashaytaan niirajeem) and spit three times on left when you wake up from a bad dream.
Also do give some sadqah, nothing will help more than sadqah will.
I think all these dreams are coming out of your inner conscious. You are dreaming about things that you are obsessed about. Nothing to worry. Just think less on these fears and then these would go away.

hmm if that's the case, then I guess I should be thankful I haven't dreamed about some of my other fears...like getting into a deadly car accident, having bugs crawling all over me in my grave, or getting divorced. Ya Allah khair. Allah maaf kare.
if a freaking divine power had to give you a freaking message via dream, would that divine power not package the message
they way you could understand your self ???
We shouldn't deny that dreams DO carry meanings, as even Hazrat Yusuf used to interpret dreams.
*There are 3 kinds of dreams in Islam:

It was narrated that Abu Salamah said: I used to see such terrible dreams that that I began to shake and have a fever, but did not cover myself with a cloak until I met Abu Qutaadah, and I mentioned that to him. He said, “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, ‘Good dreams come from Allaah and bad dreams come from the Shaytaan. If anyone sees a bad dream that he dislikes, let him spit drily to his left three times and seek refuge with Allaah from its evil, then it will not harm him.’”
missN has given the most coherent reply so far ... These dreams are not what we call repetitive dreams as they are all different and share nothing in resemblance ... Also they scare the viewer to a state that she wakes up from them ... A sign from Allah (SWT) may come only if a person is in a position of authority or if the person has asked for the sign such as with istikhara ...
always go to sleep with ayat al Kursi to minimise the nightmares ...
just curious, what are you supposed to spit in? your bedsheets? or do people have spit pails by their bedside? Cuz if I spit over my shoulder, it's hitting the pristine white wall of my rental, and man am I gonna have to do some repainting.
