Re: Backbiters
When I write things in similar style without mentioning neme etc, I get blamed for backbiting from PCG. See my thread "what the Hell" for reference.
Re: Backbiters
thnx hareem api for the reference.
so ume-zafeerah n Hum_Hain_Lajawab wat ya say now?
in fact u better answer me if some one else post something about u without mentioning ur name there, wat will u call that action?
p.s. i dont mind her mentioning real life analogy, but its better if she relate back to her behavior too.
ps2. y we find everything normal as long as its not hurting us? PCG herself wrote for being hostile, i cant get wat humbly behavior she's expecting from others then?
Re: Backbiters
so true, there are slim chances that the one who is backbiting about others in front of me today will be backbiting tomorrow about me in front of those others.
Backbiters are the least reliable people so one should be careful when they are around.
You know what? You're so right. I should have seen these signs coming...
I had a friend back in college, who once said in response to being told a "secret" , and I mean literally, this is what she said: "No, thanks, I'd rather not know".
I think that's the best thing to do when someone comes to you wanting to talk about others, even if its something benign. People really get influenced by what they're told about other people from their friends and colleagues. Its subconcscious - you can't even blame them really, because its just human nature to get influenced into an opinion.

Hmm..well, not exactly in most cases. It also depends alot on what impression they already had previously in their mind about a particular person from their past interactions and experience with him/her.
For example. I see some people in my university regarding whom no matter how many negative rumors anyone want to spread, people won't believe in them because due to their past knowledge, experience and interaction they are convinced about that person's good character and manners.
On the other hand if people are not very happy with a person due to their past interaction / experiences with him/her they would easily believe a bad rumor about the person because they were already expecting something like that.
Having said the above, it might also be possible that people are jealous of a person's good performance or have prejudice against the person due to his/her different religon, background, nationality ......etc.
p.s. Not implying on anyone, just pointing out the possible reasons which might easily tempt people to believe in bad rumors about a particular person.
Re: Backbiters
True. I was talking about situations where they don't know a person much to begin with.
Re: Backbiters
pcg, this bite in the back that you’re talking about…was that on the shoulder or on the ass? 'cause that could mean two different things you know. :halo:
Re: Backbiters
Roman, you're terrible.
