Since I’ve been in a mood for the past few days and certain things have been coming to the surface lately, I wanted to share something with you peeps, since you guys are my online desi biradari, in hopes that I can give you something to reflect on during this holy month.
Coming from a situation, where I’ve found out that someone I thought I was close to has been quite the talker behind my back, and has been, through her efforts (whether intentional or not), been creating negative impressions of me among my peers…
She and I are friends, and friends sometimes get on each other’s nerves, or have habits that annoy each other or WHATEVER. It happens. Not one of us hasn’t ever given at least someone a negative impression at some point. But it is really rude to start complaining about a person behind their back to people that you work with; and to start playing catty games with each other.
Here I am, knowing full well that I haven’t done anything negative to anyone intentionally among colleagues. And for some reason, a group of students has their radar turned negatively on me, and I find out that my friend might have something to do with it…
Just keep in mind next time you decide to fuss about someone to your other friends, something that girls do ALL THE TIME…that maybe you might really be causing someone out there to be distraught just because YOU couldn’t control your tongue.
I suppose this is why part of Ramadan is controlling what you hear, what you say, and what you think, and what you do. Its not just about avoiding food. Its also about trying to become a better person.
I hope this month benefits me and you guys. Happy Ramadan.
well PCG u r also doing the same thing. u r posting about some one whom we dont even know but she does exist. whereas these kinda gossiping are always two sided stuff. everyone take their revenge according to their strenght, so u must have done something wrong with dat respected lady that is y she is doing this wid u.

there is a big difference in her discussing an anonymous person and the situation with us versus her colleague spreading stuff about her at her work and hurting her image.
fraudia, how would you like you impage to be ruined by constant misspellings? have you thought about that? are you gonna do something to save your impage?
btw, how much did your impage cost you? which year and model?

Zobia, that's not my intention at all. I don't want you to backbite; quite the contrary, I'm sharing how I've been hurt by backbiting to give people a perspective of what it feels like to be betrayed and stabbed emotionally. So, that if you were to talk about a person behind their back next time, that you might think twice and remember me and think about how you might be hurting them.
